Domain of the Walnut - Clos Mistinguett

The compliment of Mistinguett, yes you read that right, the queen of All-Paris on the wines of Noyer is not the only glory title gleaned in this domain. In fact, its creator Jean Marcel was able to lead it to quality and place it among the twenty Provencal domains classified as "Cru Classé" since 1955. This reference was intended by the State to distinguish the most deserving wine estates of the time, those who took care of their wines until bottling and set an example for the wines of Provence. Olivier, Frédéric, and Vanessa Guérin want to be worthy of this beautiful past in the future. Seventeen hectares of vineyards, the eldest confess to over forty years. All are planted on the slopes of the Massif des Maures, gentle slopes that promote soil drainage and, at the same time, grape concentration. They are bathed in the generous sun of the Mediterranean, but in the evening, they benefit from the coolness of the nights, linked to the altitude. Ideal conditions for regular and complete ripening. The wines are only better for it!
