CHATEAU DE NOUVELLES

Le Château de Nouvelles, c’est un rendez-vous avec l’histoire. Le nom du Domaine vient de Jacques Fournier de Novelli, plus connu sous le nom de pape Benoît XII, qui possédait le château. Construit sur une ancienne villa gallo-romaine, le Château de Nouvelles était le gardien de ce vallon, passage très fréquenté entre la France et l'Espagne. Ce terroir a permis, depuis le 11ème siècle, d’offrir des vins de qualités reconnus. Ce domaine est depuis 1834 la propriété de la famille Daurat-Fort. Les 75 hectares du Domaine sont en conversion biologique. La nouvelle génération associée à la tradition et le savoir-faire, au respect de la nature, au progrès, mais surtout à la passion, permet d'élaborer des vins personnalisés et racés qui reflètent la richesse de ce fabuleux terroir.
