Le Saumur Blanc, un joyau de la Vallée de la Loire, est principalement élaboré à partir du cépage Chenin Blanc. Cette appellation, répartie sur 27 communes du Maine-et-Loire, 9 de la Vienne et 2 des Deux-Sèvres, couvre 390 hectares. Ces vins se distinguent par leur robe jaune or, leurs arômes de fruits blancs compotés, de fleurs blanches et leur finale minérale évoquant le tuffeau. Avec une production annuelle de 19 000 hl, ces vins révèlent une fraîcheur et une densité qui varient selon leur concentration.
