CHAMPAGNE PHILIPPE GONET
Established at Le Mesnil-sur-Oger since 1910, Champagne Philippe Gonet cultivates 19 hectares on the celebrated deep chalk soils of the Côte des Blancs, one of Champagne's most prestigious Grand Cru villages. Founded in 1830 by Pierre-Charles Gonet, the House is today led by Pierre and Chantal Gonet, who have committed the vineyards to organic conversion since 2021. The chalk here reaches down to 40 metres, riddled with belemnite fossils that lend the wines their distinctive mineral character. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this House for the precision and depth of its cuvées, the remarkable chalk cellars dating to 1783, and a genuine, unhurried commitment to sustainable viticulture. A true terroir Champagne — mineral, focused, and worth cellaring.
