A structured Provençal red with genuine cellaring potential

  • This wine's spiced character and firm structure make it a natural companion to robust dishes—curried preparations, grilled lamb, and richly sauced meat courses all find their match here.
  • The vineyard is managed under organic principles, reflecting a commitment to sustainable viticulture that respects the terroir of Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence.
  • Vignelaure offers the balance and depth expected of a serious Provençal red: ripe fruit, savoury complexity, and a finish that lingers without heaviness.

Product features : Château Vignelaure 2015 — Cdaix

In the mouth
The palate is generous and well-structured, with fine-grained tannins and a satisfying length that speaks to the wine's ability to develop further in bottle.
On the nose
The bouquet unfolds with red fruit—cherry and plum—alongside earthy undertones of forest floor and a whisper of white pepper and garrigue spice.
On the eye
Deep purple with violet reflections; a wine of evident concentration and maturity.
Breeding
Aged in stainless steel then in oak barrels for 24 months.
M. Francois
Vignelaure pairs admirably with traditional beef bourguignon and roasted lamb cutlets, but equally rewards a simply prepared navarin d'agneau. The wine's organic credentials and balanced profile make it a thoughtful choice for the discerning table.
