Two centuries of mastery and tradition

  • The signature expression of the Maison. Charles Heidsieck's Brut Reserve embodies the house's commitment to depth and complexity, blending reserve wines to achieve remarkable consistency and character across vintages.
  • Elegant on the nose, precise on the palate. This champagne displays the refinement expected of a serious producer, with aromatic complexity that rewards contemplation rather than mere refreshment.
  • Charles Heidsieck champagnes rank among the world's most decorated. The Brut Reserve represents the house's philosophy: vinous character and longevity over ephemeral lightness.

Breeding
Ageing on lees: over 36 months in the House's ancient chalk cellars, well beyond the legal minimum of 15 months. Reserve wines: comprising 40%, sourced from exceptional vintages and held in stainless steel to preserve freshness whilst developing complexity.
On the eye
Deep golden hue, brilliant and luminous in the glass
On the nose
Fresh brioche, butter and roasted hazelnuts mingle with subtle almond notes. The bouquet develops with air, revealing layers of complexity.
In the mouth
Velvety texture, almost creamy, courtesy of mature reserve wines. Vanilla, amber and praline notes build towards a sustained, elegant finish.
M. Francois
The Brut Reserve is arguably the finest non-vintage champagne available. Its aromatic richness and substantial texture set it apart—closer to a fine white wine than a simple sparkling wine. A champagne of conviction, prioritising depth and ageing potential. Essential for the serious enthusiast.

CHAMPAGNE CHARLES HEIDSIECK

Founded in Reims in 1851, Champagne Charles Heidsieck crafts its wines from the celebrated Gallo-Roman Crayères, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2015. Its founder, Charles-Camille Heidsieck — known as 'Champagne Charlie' — established from the outset a style built on ripeness and depth, drawing on Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier across 60 hectares of chalky slopes, grands and premiers crus of the Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this House for the consistency of its range, its dual HVE and Terra Vitis certifications, and the remarkable steadiness of its assemblages. A Champagne reference we recommend with genuine conviction.
