Spanning 39 hectares on the northern plateau of Saint-Émilion, at the edge of Pomerol, Château Cheval Blanc ranks among Bordeaux's most distinguished estates. Founded in 1832 on land carved from Château Figeac, it held Premier Grand Cru Classé A status from 1955 until voluntarily withdrawing in 2022 — a decision reflecting its confidence in its own standing. Its atypical blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot yields reds of remarkable precision and aromatic depth, rooted in clay, coarse gravel and sand. At Halles Quercamps, we selected this château for the consistency of its vintages, the singular character of its terroir, and its enduring place in Bordeaux history.
