Breeding
Approximately 24 months in French oak barrels, with a significant proportion of new wood.
On the eye
Brilliant, deep garnet with violet and blue-tinged reflections. Dense and luminous.
On the nose
Penetrating yet subtle bouquet: red fruits and dark berries, lifted by liquorice and garrigue. Refined oak influence emerges—hints of cade wood and toasted grain.
In the mouth
Velvet entry, then generous and sun-drenched on the palate, sustained by a fine thread of freshness and structural balance throughout.
This is one of the finest Syrah expressions in all southern France. It captures the force of the Mediterranean climate married to the finesse of altitude terroirs. I recommend it with roasted lamb, beef Wellington with black truffle, game dishes, or vegetable-stuffed peppers with warm spices. A wine of real distinction.

CHATEAU LA VERRERIE
Château La Verrerie is a wine estate in the Luberon appellation (Vaucluse). Owned by the Brüning family. Around 45 hectares on clay-limestone soils. Grapes: Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre (reds), Vermentino, Roussanne (whites). Organically farmed. The wines express the freshness and elegance of the Luberon terroir. Available at Les Halles de Quercamps.
