CHATEAU BELLEVUE
Set across 3 hectares of argilo-calcaire slopes facing south and south-west in Saint-Émilion, Château Bellevue is among the most historically documented properties in the appellation, founded in 1642. After a period of co-ownership with the de Boüard family of Angélus between 2007 and 2022, the Pradel de Lavaux family now steward the château alone — farming entirely in certified organic viticulture and HVE. At Halles Quercamps, we selected this château for the singular character of its terroir, where marine limestone crowns the upper slopes and sandy colluvions soften the lower, and for the quiet determination with which the Pradel de Lavaux family reassert an identity rooted in nearly four centuries of history.
